About Us
SHEWHISPERER Service Dogs provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities, either physical or developmental. We provide dogs for you or we can train your own dog. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs from the shelter and professionally train them to meet the needs of people w/ disabilities.

To apply for a SHEWHISPERER Service Dog, contact us for an application packet and we will review your application to best determine what type of training you need for your dog or determine which one of our dogs will best suit your needs.
Types of Service Dogs
Physical Task Dogs — People with physical disabilities who could use the help of a service dog to perform tasks such as, retrieving items and putting them in your lap or backpack, opening doors, turning light switches on and off, etc.
Companion Dogs for children – This team consists of three people, a primary caretaker or parent, the child and the dog. The dog can perform many duties including physical tasks and/or a companion for an autistic child creating a sense of security for the child, while enhancing a wonderful bond of love, affection and trust between the child and the dog. Studies have shown that an autistic child who has bonded with a companion service dog has better focus, less temper tantrums, and a general sense of security in the world.
Therapy Dogs — Companion dogs that support and bring love and joy to those in facilities like hospice, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers to improve the mental, emotional or physical well being of those in need..
