I am Jill Breitner, animal behaviorist, dog trainer, or dog whisperer, serving the entire San Francisco Bay Area, including Marin and Sonoma County and Los Angeles. My goal is to educate dog and horse owners about their animals' language (whispering, speaking their language) and taking into consideration all aspects of canine and equine health and well-being, including diet, exercise, training and behavior modification-- I am able to bridge the gap of frustration and anxiety between animals and people thereby creating a relationship of joy, compassion and respect between animal and owner, making horse and dog training fun.

What is natural horse training?

Natural horse training is learning the language of horses. Pasture horses are talking to each other all day long, even horses next to each other in stalls. By learning and understanding herd behavior, their language; we are able to communicate with our horse in such a way as to elicit the best from them. We gain trust, respect and aliveness such that the horse wants to perform his/her best in the show ring or on the ground. Problem solving with this foundation begins to take care of itself, and the bond that is created is much deeper because we have gained our horses' trust.

What is natural dog training?

Natural dog training is learning the language of dogs. Body language is a dog's first language and by understanding their body language and how our body language affects their behavior we are then better equipped to train them. By understanding pack behavior we can become the leader in such a way as to not break the dogs' spirit rather enhance his/her greatest qualities creating an everlasting bond of love, trust and companionship. Problem solving with this foundation begins to take care of itself.
